Some Advice....

  • Don’t blow your balance on one pick unless you’re confident!
  • The more points you have towards the latter rounds, the better position you’ll be in to make your move for the crown.

Points Scoring

All players start with the same balance of 500 points. There’s no Dana White privileges here.

Each round, betting odds will be posted in the WhatsApp group for every fight on the preliminary & main cards. 🎰

Use the odds to decide whether or not you wish to stake some points on a fight.

Try to accumulate more points by staking what’s available from your balance on a fighter to win their fight. 🤛

It’s up to you how to stake your points, spread them across many fights or just pick one, be a sniper or a machine gun. It’s up to you. 🎯

Stake as many or as few points from your balance as you wish. 🔮

When the fight has ended and the results are in, if you have chosen well and your fighter wins, then your stake will be returned as well as your profit and added to your balance. 📈 The same as a bet.

If your fighter loses then, unlucky, the amount you staked will be deducted from your balance. 📉

⛔ No Doubles, Accumulators or Parleys. Single Bets Only, Baby. ⛔

There are 3 ways to earn points, the first one has been explained above.

The other 2 are Show Money and Performance Bonus’, Read on below.

Show Money Bonus

Players that have staked at least 100 points in a round, will qualify for 100 points of "Show Money" that will be added to their balance before the next round begins.  📈

Think of it like when a fighter shows up for a fight, they get paid whether they end up winning or losing. This is called "Show Money".

So you get paid 100 points, for staking 100 points (or more). If you don’t bet at least 100 points, you won’t get the Show Money Bonus.

Performance Bonus

No Performance bonuses for season 7!

Wildcards

All players have 3 wildcards to play in a season. You can only play each wildcard once, so play them wisely. 🃏 🃏 🃏

Make sure you state which wildcards you want to play when sending in your selections. ☑️

🚨You can play more than 1 wildcard per fight 🚨

Wildcard 1 -  Submission Victory 🥋- Play this wildcard and your profit is doubled should your selection win by submission. If your selection wins by any other method of victory then you will be returned the normal amount of profit.

Wildcard 2 - KO ☠️. Play this wildcard and your profit is doubled should your selection win by Knockout or TKO. If your selection wins by any other method of victory then you will be returned the normal amount of profit.

Wildcard 3 - Decision ⌛- Play this wildcard and your profit is doubled should your selection win by Decision. If your selection wins by any other method of victory then you will be returned the normal amount of profit.

Draws, No Contests & Cancelled Fights.

A draw will return 50% of potential profit to players that picked a fighter involved in a draw.

If a player has used a decision wildcard in a fight resulting in a draw, then they will double their profit to 100%.

Murphy's Law...

If there is a double knockout draw, Rocky style, then players that used their KO wildcards will double their profit to 100%.

In the very unlikely event that both fighters tap at the same time and the fight results in a draw, then players that used their Submission wildcards will double their profit to 100%.

No contest draws, eye pokes, low blows will count for less. Players will be returned 30% of their potential profit to keep the game moving.

If a player hasn't noticed that a fight has been cancelled then all the points that a player has used on a cancelled fighter will go on to the shortest price favourite that is closest to the headliner event.

Wildcards will be returned.

This is to prevent a wasted opportunity for a player and potential loss of performance bonus. Unless the player has recognised that the fight has been cancelled and chosen a different selection.

If that favourite loses, then the player will be returned his full stake. Therefore it's a free bet.

Selection Window

The last section of rules. There is a window of time that you must get your selections in.

Window Open - Monday of Fight Week

Window Closes - 5pm BST Saturday before Fight Night

That's it! Any Questions, let us know!

Example

When you have decided who you want to bet on, simply post in the Silk Pyjamas WhatsApp group something like this:

Amanda Nunes, 2 points, TKO Wildcard

Jon Jones, 1 point

Khabib, 0.5 points

In the example above, the player has selected 3 fighters to win, they have staked a total of 3.5 points from their available balance and used their TKO wildcard on Amanda Nunes.

Did we miss anything?

If you feel like we can improve the game in anyway...
